Marquette General Diabetes Education offers pre-diabetes class
Marquette General Diabetes Education will hold a pre-diabetes class on Tuesday, April 22, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m at Marquette General Hospital. Future classes will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
The class is open to anyone diagnosed with pre-diabetes, borderline diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance. Participants will learn what pre-diabetes is, how to prevent diabetes, nutrition and exercise tips, and goal setting.
Pre-registration is required. The cost is $30 and will be due at the start of class. Family members are encouraged to attend and can attend at no cost.
