MGH conference to address Colorectal Cancer
Cancer Update scheduled for Friday, April 30
Marquette
General Hospital will serve as the host for a Cancer Update the
end of April.
“Colorectal Cancer: Management of the Past, Present and Future” will
be held from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 30, in the MGH Conference
Center.
Designed for professionals involved in patient care, the Update will address
a number of colorectal cancer issues, including advantages of adjuvant therapy;
the latest advances in endoscopic treatment and evaluation for colorectal cancer;
and preventive therapies and screening for colorectal cancer.

Dr. Joseph Kim
A number of highly respected physicians will speak at the conference,
including Dr.
Joseph Kim, a gastroenterologist at U.P. Digestive
Disease Associates,
P.C., and on staff at Marquette General. He will speak on “Colorectal
Screening and Prevention.”
The registration fee of $60 includes continental breakfast, refreshment breaks,
a luncheon and handouts. The fee for Marquette General retirees and students
is $30. Continuing Education Credits will be available for physicians and
nurses.
The MGH Conference Center is located in the East Building. To access the
center, park in Lot A, located at the corner of Hebard Court and College
Avenue, and
enter the hospital through the East Entrance canopy. Then, take the elevator
to the third floor and exit to the right.
