Dr. Matthew Colligan comes to Marquette from Tampa, Fla.

Matthew Colligan, DO, has joined Orthopaedic Surgery Associates
of Marquette and is on staff of Marquette General Health System.

Dr. Colligan’s fellowship in the sub specialty of hip and
knee replacement focused on state-of-the-art care in the surgical
management of hip and knee arthritis involving the use of computer-assisted
surgery and minimally invasive and muscle sparing techniques in
hip and knee replacement surgery, including small incision surgery.
He has a special interest in treating patients with complex joint
conditions, including those who previously had artificial hip
and knee replacements.
A native of Traverse City, Dr. Colligan comes to Marquette from
Tampa, Fla. There, he completed a fellowship in adult hip and
knee reconstructive arthroplasty. He joins Drs. Robert Blotter,
Kenneth Davenport, Jay Eppinga, Wallace Pearson and Matthew Songer
at Orthopaedic Surgery Associates of Marquette in the Peninsula
Medical Center.
Board eligible in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Colligan completed
his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Michigan State University/Ingham
Regional Medical Center in Lansing. He earned his medical degree
from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine
and holds an undergraduate degree from Michigan Tech University.
Dr. Colligan’s other areas of interest include arthroscopy
of the knee and shoulder, and open shoulder reconstruction.
