Marquette General, U.S. Coast Guard teach water safety to Father Marquette Elementary Students
USCG Boatswains Mate 3rd Class Jess Lutz helps Father Marquette Elementary 2nd Grade student Marius Grazulis “gear up” in a survival suit, as USCG Seaman Bill Pless looks on.
Lutz and Pless, who are both assigned to USCG Station Marquette, presented a discussion on the mission of the U.S. Coast Guard and provided valuable information about water safety. This presentation was in conjunction with monthly safety topics provided at the school, and coordinated through the MGHS Trauma Department.
