Car seat safety clinic slated
on Saturday at Snyder’s in Harvey
A free child car seat safety clinic event will
be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of
Snyder Drug Store in Harvey.
Certified child passenger safety technicians will check child
car seats to assure proper fit, check for possible seat recalls
and provide general safety information on proper vehicle child
restraint.
The event is held in conjunction with Marquette
General Health System EMS, the Women’s
and Children’s Center at Marquette General, Marquette-Alger
SAFEKIDS and the Kohl’s for Kids program.
Major funding for the event was made possible through Kohl’s
for Kids funding provided to the Women’s and Children’s
Center at Marquette General.
