University of Wisconsin associate professor of neurology presented
Adam
Brish Neuroscience Lecture Award at conference
Dr. Raj Sheth, associate professor of neurology and director
of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program in the Department
of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin,
is presented the Adam Brish Neuroscience Lecture Award by Dr. Brish at
the Neuroscience Conference on June 4 at Marquette General
Hospital.

Dr. Sheth,
the guest speaker at the Brish lecture, presented on, “Identification & Differentiation
of Seizures and Making Appropriate Referrals.” Dr. Sheth’s name
will be permanently inscribed on the Adam Brish Neuroscience Lecture Award.
Dr. Brish,
who for many years was the lone neurosurgeon in the Upper Peninsula,
worked tirelessly to care for patients with neuro trauma and neurosurgical
needs. The Brish lecture began in 1992, shortly after his retirement.
