Marquette Boy Scouts of America to hold ceremonial flag raise in honor of Veterans Day
In honor of Veterans Day, Marquette General Hospital has invited several Boy Scout troops to conduct a ceremonial flag raising ceremony Sunday, November 11, at 12:15 p.m., at the flagpoles next to the hospital's main entrance on College Avenue.
Twenty Boy Scouts of America, ages 9-21, from Troop 302, Troop 309, Pack 321 and Venture Crew 356 will form a traditional color guard. A bugler will play while the flag is escorted to the base of the flagpole, and a ceremonial flag raising will follow. The public is invited to attend.
