Marquette General Board of Trustees names new board members
Bartlett is a resident of Marquette; Greenlee is a resident of Hancock; Herioux is a resident of Gladstone; Dwyer is a resident of Wetmore
The Marquette General Board of Trustees recently voted to elect four new board members. New members of the board include John Bartlett, MD, Nancy Dwyer, Dan Greenlee and Scott Herioux.

Marquette General’s board has always been an all-volunteer board who receive no compensation for their service to the community.
Board members are appointed for three-year terms, with a maximum of three consecutive terms. Existing board members will rotate off of the board in defined intervals over the next two to eight years.
Each of the new board members has specific areas of knowledge and expertise identified as strengths that will enhance the Marquette General Board’s ability to carry out the Hospital’s strategic plan and build on the level of excellence that has been established throughout the Hospital’s history.
Joining the Marquette General medical staff in 2003, Dr. Bartlett is a partner in Marquette Internal Medicine and Pediatric Associates, PC, located in the Upper Peninsula Medical Center. Dr. Bartlett recently served on the Marquette General Board as chief of staff for Marquette General Hospital. He is an Upper Peninsula native and a graduate of Gladstone High School, and resides in Marquette with his wife, Brett, and their three children.
Nancy Dwyer, RN, is case manager for Northwood Home Nursing and Hospice in Munising, and has been owner of Falling Rock Café & Bookstore since 2003. From 1993-2003, she was clinical assistant professor for the University of Florida College of Nursing. Dywer has served as a member of the Alger County Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Mining Friends of the Library. She was also a Munising Kiwanis member. Dywer resides in Wetmore with her husband, Jeff, and has two step-daughters.
Daniel Greenlee is chief financial officer for Michigan Tech University and The Tech Fund, and is treasurer of the MTU Board of Control and the MTU Board of Directors. He serves as a board member of the United Way of Copper Country, as well as a board member and bell ringer for the Salvation Army of Hancock. He is endowment fund chair of the Hancock First Methodist Church, and was previously a board member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Iron Mountain. He resides in Hancock with his wife, Linda, and has two children.
Scott Herioux is the chief financial officer for the Hannahville Indian Community and the Island Resort and Casino, and has been a licensed CPA for the past 15 years. He currently serves as the vice president of the YMCA of Delta County Board and is the chairperson of the OSF Hospital Community Advisory Board. He currently resides in Gladstone with his wife, Jeffyn, and has 3 children.
Members of the Marquette General System Board of Trustees serve on an entirely volunteer basis, and receive no compensation for their service to the community.
