Marquette Mall hosting ‘Beach Party’ to help MGHS Capital Campaign
Employees from the Westwood Mall in Marquette will be holding a "Beach Party" on Thursday, July 29, to help raise money for Marquette General Foundation’s Accelerating the Future Capital Campaign. The $4 million fundraising effort will bring innovative treatment technology to the Radiation Oncology Department at Marquette General Hospital.
A $5 donation entitles employees to a light lunch, prize drawings and special offers in several mall stores. In addition, a dunk tank will be on hand for employees to have a chance to dunk store managers for additional donations.
Westwood Mall employees will serve food from Noon to 1 p.m. and from 5 - 6 p.m. to allow employees from various shifts to participate.
The Marquette General Foundation will also be present with information pertaining to the campaign. A four-minute campaign video will play during this time to help educate those in attendance the need for new equipment in radiation oncology.
