welcomes return of cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgeon
Cardiovascular-thoracic
surgeon Dr. Doug Baldwin has rejoined Upper Michigan Cardiovascular
Associates, PC, and
the medical staff at Marquette General Health System.

He returns to Marquette from the University of Minnesota, Division
of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in Minneapolis. He previously
was on staff at Marquette
General before leaving the area for a short time.
At Upper Michigan Cardiovascular Associates, PC, Dr. Baldwin joins 13 cardiologists
and cardiovascular-thoracic surgeons Dr.
Curtis Marder and Dr.
James Klena.
Dr. Baldwin completed a thoracic surgery residency, general surgery residency
and internship at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He earned his
medical degree from the University of Minnesota.
Board certified in cardiothoracic surgery, Dr. Baldwin was recognized with
a series of educational awards. He won the Earl Young Award at Methodist
Hospital in Minneapolis, an educational grant awarded annually to one senior
surgical
resident by the staff at Methodist for clinical achievement. He also was
awarded the Buchwald Award, a grant given annually to one senior surgical
resident
for academic and clinical achievement.
Dr. Baldwin has had a number of research papers published in medical journals.
