AT&T was lead sponsor of Marquette General Foundation 2009 Gala
AT&T of Marquette was a Gala Victor ($10,000) sponsor of the Marquette General Foundation’s Second Annual Celebrating our Champions 2009 Gala: “Pioneer Women in Medicine” held late September at UpFront & Company in Marquette.

Steve Balbierz, director of External Affairs for AT&T in the Upper Peninsula, is pictured presenting the sponsorship check to Pam Benton, left, operations and special events manager of the Marquette General Foundation, and Lynn Moon, a member of the Marquette General Foundation Board of Directors and chair of the Special Events Committee that organized the Gala.
AT&T Inc. is the largest communications holding company in the United States. More than $67,000 in net revenue was raised at the Gala, with proceeds being used to help finance the purchase of state-of-the-art radiation therapy treatment technology to enhance the care available for cancer patients at Marquette General Health System.
