Marquette neurologist appointed to Alzheimer’s Council

Neurologist Dr. Roman Politi, a member of Neurology Associates of Marquette and on staff at Marquette General Health System, has been appointed to the Medical and Scientific Advisory Council (MSAC) of the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Michigan Chapter.

Dr. Politi specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.

The MSAC advises the Chapter on medical issues; reviews and/or approves research requests for access to caregivers; writes articles for the newsletter; participates on its Speakers Bureau; and plans an annual MSAC research in-service.

The MSAC is comprised of 20-25 physicians, nurses, PhD’s and researchers.

Dr. Politi received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed a residency at the University of Michigan Medical School.

A member of the American Academy of Neurology, Dr. Politi is the Medical Director of the Memory Diagnostic Center of Upper Michigan at the Tobin Medical Center in Ishpeming.

Dr. Politi accepts appointments through physician referral.
