MGHS psychiatrist in Iron Mountain moving to new office
Dr. Van Holla will see patients in Wells Fargo Bank Building
office
Psychiatrist
Dr. David Van Holla, a member of Upper Michigan Behavioral Health
Service-Iron Mountain and on staff at Marquette General Health
System, will move into a new office on Thursday, May 6.

Dr. Van Holla will move into Suite 401 of the Wells Fargo
Bank Building, located at 500 S. Stephenson Ave. in downtown
Iron
Mountain. He had been working out
of Suite 203 of the Wood’s Sandstone Building at 208 E. Ludington St.
in Iron Mountain.
A native of Iron Mountain,Dr. Van Holla attended a residency at the Marquette
Family Practice Residency and completed a residency in psychiatry at Michigan
State University. He was named the Resident of the Year at the Family Practice
Residency based at Marquette General Hospital, and was Chief Resident at
Michigan State University.
Dr. Van Holla earned his medical degree from the MSU College of Human Medicine
and owns a bachelor’s degree (with highest honors) from Michigan State.
He holds professional memberships to the American Psychiatric Society, Michigan
Psychiatric Society and the National Health Service Corps.
Upper Michigan Behavioral Health Service-Iron Mountain is a JCAHO-accredited
behavioral health office offering outpatient mental health treatment services.
