Marquette General awarded Bronze Stroke Performance Achievement Award
The Marquette General Health System has been awarded the Get With The Guidelines Bronze Stroke Performance Achievement Award by the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association.
The award recognizes Marquette General for achieving at least 90 consecutive days, of 85 percent or higher adherence, to all Get With The Guidelines Stroke performance achievement indicators.
Get With The Guidelines is a quality improvement initiative that provides hospitals with tools that follow proven evidence-based guidelines and procedures in caring for stroke patients. This recognition comes on the heels of the recent announcement that Marquette General was awarded the Gold Seal of Approval by the Joint Commission for Primary Stroke Centers.
