Cancer specialist joins Marquette General Hematology/Oncology - Escanaba
Medical Oncologist Dr. Santosh Gowda has joined Marquette General Hematology/Oncology - Escanaba, formerly U.P. Hematology/Oncology - Escanaba, and the Marquette General Cancer Center. He also joins seven Marquette General Medical Group physicians in Delta County.

Dr. Gowda’s expertise in medical oncology complement and enhance the comprehensive capabilities of the team at Marquette General Family Medicine – Escanaba, formerly Doctors Park Family Physicians. As a medical oncologist, Dr. Gowda manages the medical component of cancer treatment including chemotherapy and hormone therapy. He also works closely with other specialists including surgeons, pathologists, radiologists and radiation oncologists in planning and administering the most appropriate therapies.
Dr. Gowda completed his fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and completed his residency at the University of Florida. He also earned his master’s degree in medical sciences with research in molecular genetics and microbiology at the University of Florida, and earned his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at Bangalore Medical College in India.
