U.P. Regional Blood Center holding “Cinco De Mayo” blood drive
The U.P. Regional Blood Center in Marquette, a service of Marquette General Health System, is holding a “Cinco De Mayo” blood drive on Tuesday, May 5, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., located at 437 W. College Ave., next to Marquette General Hospital.
Free T-shirts will be given to the first 75 donors and Border Grill will provide salsa and chips. There will also be two contests:
1. “How Many Red Hosts (Blood Drops) in the Blood Bag?”
2. “Blood Donor Knowledge Quiz”.
The U.P. Regional Blood Center in Marquette provides blood products to 13 Upper Peninsula hospitals, including Marquette General.
