We have all been faced with some sort of pain at one time or another. The pain may have had a distinct beginning and end. It may have been from the result of an injury or genetic in nature. The pain may also have been from a condition that an individual has had all their life. The type of pain can vary from person to person and so can the perception of pain. Yet, as common as pain is, the healthcare community is just beginning to address and understand what effective pain management is.

Perhaps the one thing we can be sure of regarding pain is that it can have a dramatic and debilitating effect on all of our lives. That is why the Upper Michigan Pain Evaluation and Treatment Network is here. Serving the community in the diagnosis, management and treatment of all types of pain. Call us today if you or someone you know is suffering from pain.
