Mission
-
The
mission of the Upper Michigan Pain Evaluation
and Treatment Network of Marquette General
Health System is to provide prompt access to
comprehensive pain management services for
physicians, patients and other referral sources
in a manner that reflects the highest in healthcare
standards and excellence from the Regional
Medical Center and surrounding medical community.
Vision
-
The
Upper Michigan Pain Evaluation and Treatment
Network is a user-friendly, easy-access point,
referral program for patients, physicians and
other healthcare specialists who either suffer
from or treat and diagnose acute or chronic
pain problems. The program has been designed
to fully utilize and expedite all of the multidisciplinary
resources that already exist in Upper Michigan’s
healthcare provider community.
This “clinic
without walls” structure will help to
better utilize and increase access to existing
physician’s offices and specialty services
provided in the Marquette General Health System
and surrounding medical community. It will
allow patients and physicians to make one simple
call to the Pain Network Referral Coordinator
and set into motion an entire treatment or
therapy process beginning with initial consultation
and evaluation and ending with a positive outcome
or closure to the problem. |
