ORTHOTRIPSY (Heel Pain)

Orthotripsy is a new, non-invasive treatment of Plantar fasciitis and potentially other orthopedic conditions. This treatment, which uses concentrated sound waves to resolve chronic heel pain, utilizes the Ossatron Orthotripsy unit provided by Healthtronies (www.healthtronics.com).

Dr. Tabor offers the patient this solution after evaluation and diagnosis. The procedure is performed in the operating room under Anesthesia care. It typically lasts 10-15 minutes.

This treatment will be offered once a month at MGH.
