Collection Info |
Obtain 1 cm (3) of tissue. Place specimen in screw-capped, sterile container with sterile Hank's balanced salt solution, Ringer's solution, or normal saline. Label vial with patient's name and a unique identifying number. Please send the specimen immediately after resection. Specimen must reach the laboratory within 24 hours. Send specimen refrigerated. SPECIMENS CANNOT BE FROZEN. |

Clinical Utilities
Detection of abnormalities involving ALK, BCL6, MYC, IGH,
t(8;14), t(11;14), t(11;18), and t(14;18) most commonly
associated with B-Cell Lymphoma.
