PARTIAL THROMBOPLASTIN TIME - PTT
Photo optical clot detection
85730
Ref Range
Instrument specific.
Reflex Reason
If DVVT is abnormal, reflex testing such as Dilute Viper Venom confirmation
test, inhibitor screen , and platelet neutralization procedure may be required.
If PTT is abnormal, and inhibitor screen will be reflexed and Factor VIII and
IX may be required.
An abnormal VW result should be followed up with VW antigen and
Von Willebrand factor multimer analysis.
