Collection Info |
Dacron cevicovaginal swab. The specimen collection and transport kit from Adeza is the only acceptable collection system. Contact Marquette General Health System lab to obtain collection kit and instructions. Specimens should be stored refrigerated at 2-8c and tested within 3 days of collection. Assay should only be used in patients with intact amniotic membranes and cervical dilation <3 cm. Sampling should be performed no earlier than 24 weeks 0 days, and no later than 34 weeks and 6 days of gestation. |
