Collection Info

  10 mL (pediatric: 3.0 mL) from a random urine collection.  Urine is 
the preferred specimen for screening for organic acid disorders.  
Send specimen frozen in plastic bottle on dry ice.
NOTE:  1. PATIENT'S AGE IS REQUIRED ON REQUEST FORM FOR
          PROCESSING.
       2. Include family history, clinical condition (asymptomatic
          or acute episode), diet, and drug therapy information.
