  | Draw blood in a plain, red-top tube(s) following an overnight (12-14 hour) fast. Patient must not consume any alcohol for 24 hours before the specimen is drawn. Spin down and send 5 mL of serum frozen in plastic vial. Note: Patient's age and sex are required on request form for processing. |
