Collection Info

   Specimens are stable at refrigerated temperature (2-10C)
for 24 hours.  Specimens not tested within 24 hours should be frozen

Methods
EIA Screen. All positive results are then tested by Indirect Fluorescent Antibody (IFA) using Crithidia luciliae Substrate.

Clinical Utilities
Useful for determining antibodies to double-stranded DNA. If Positive results are titered.
