Clinical Utilities
CA27.29 is a tumor marker useful in the management of patients with metastatic carcinoma of the breast. Monitor the course of breast cancer, patient response to treatment, and disease recurrence. CA27.29 is one of several names, including CA15-3, used to refer to breast carcinoma associated antigen. These assays (CA27.29 and CA 15-3) measure the same antigen.
