Yazan Khouri, MD joins UP Health System - Marquette Heart & Vascular

UP Health System – Marquette has announced that Dr. Yazan Khouri will join its Heart & Vascular team. 

Dr. Khouri received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology – School of Medicine. He completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at St. John Hospital and Medical Centers in Detroit, MI, a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, MI, his Internal Medicine Residency at St. John Health System in Southfield, MI, Externship in Mechanical Assisted Devices in Heart Failure and Medical Observership in Cardiovascular Surgery at Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX, and his Internship in Medicine at Al-Salt Hospital in Salt, Jordan. 

Dr. Khouri brings specialized training in transfemoral and transapical approaches to transcatheter valve procedures and extensive experience serving as the Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Department at Providence Hospital, of the St. John Providence Health System, and is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Michigan State Medical Society, American College of Physicians, and The Jordan Medical Association. Dr. Khouri has authored and co-authored numerous research abstracts and articles.
