UP Health System – Marquette welcomes Sean Hendren, MD to Emergency Medicine

UP Health System – Marquette announced that Dr. Sean Hendren has joined its Emergency Medicine team.

Dr. Hendren received his doctor of medicine degree with a teaching distinction from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA. He recently completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, MI.

Dr. Hendren brings a diverse and accomplished background to UP Health System – Marquette, including his experience as Flight Physician for West Michigan Air Care, Medical Control Physician for the Kalamazoo County Medical Control Authority, and his role as Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at the Western Michigan University School of Medicine.

Dr. Hendren is board eligible by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and holds licensures and certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Fundamentals of Critical Care Support, and Basic and Advanced Disaster Life Support.
