General
Information -
The
advantage of specialized home care programs
| >> |
Home
care has become highly technical as patients are discharged
after shorter and shorter hospital stays. Because we are closely
linked with a regional medical center, we can offer you the
best in specialty home care. |
| >> |
Support
services are available during pregnancy and after the new baby
comes home. |
| >> |
Home care
can help older adults remain at home by providing skilled nursing
care, nutrition guidance and housekeeping. |
Who
can benefit from home care?
Almost anyone
may have a time in their lives when they need care and treatment
at home. Marquette General Home Health & Hospice provides compassionate
care for a lifetime.
Specialty
programs
Our caregivers
are from your own area
. . . neighbors
caring for neighbors. They also have a direct link with the Major Services at Marquette General, and have specialized training.

Financial
concerns
Financial concerns
should be the least of your worries. We will be happy to check with
your insurance company about your coverage. When ordered by your
physician, coverage for home care may be available from private
insurance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid, CHAMPUS,
and workers compensation plans.
When
can home care be scheduled?
Regular scheduled
visits are based on patient need and convenience. A registered nurse
is also on call 24 hours a day.
How
can I find out if my situation qualifies for home care?
Please
call the office nearest you, and we will be happy to help
you with all your questions.
