Rehabilitation

Helps people recovering from stroke, brain injury, or muscular/skeletal system problems to become stronger and more independent at home.

 

Home Infusion Program

In cooperation with the pharmacy at Marquette General, the home infusion program provides long term intravenous therapy for hydration, chemotherapy, medications, and nutrition.

 

Home Cancer Program

 

What is the Home Health Cancer Program?

The Marquette General Home Health & Hospice Cancer Program provides continuation of the services started in the hospital or doctor's office at home. Expert care and support are provided by a team of health care professionals. Home cancer care provides additional help needed by cancer patients in their homes.  Helps patients with the side effects of cancer treatment, pain management, nutrition, safety, and coping with the emotional effects of cancer.

 

Home Heart Program

Helps you recuperate, adjust to lifestyle changes and understand medications and pacemakers.

 

Home Surgical Program

Helps with dressings and medications, and teaches family members to do as much as they can for the patient.

 

Geriatric Home Care

Any type and amount of assistance, from personal care to skilled nursing treatment, helps elderly people stay independent in the dignity of a home setting.

 

Hospice Care

Hospice provides spiritual, emotional and medical support for patients in the final stages of life-limiting illnesses.

 

 


 

Financial concerns

Financial concerns should be the least of your worries. We will be happy to check with your insurance company about your coverage. When ordered by your physician, coverage for home care may be available from private insurance, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid, CHAMPUS, and workers compensation plans.

 

When can home care be scheduled?

Regular scheduled visits are based on patient need and convenience. A registered nurse is also on call 24 hours a day.
