Diagnostic Testing

Marquette General Health System has provided quality cardiac services to the residents of the Upper Peninsula for more than 18 years.  Blue Cross Blue Shield recognized the quality of Marquette General Health system's program when they selected MGHS as one of 14 Cardiac Centers of Excellence in Michigan.

MGHS provides several U.P. hospitals and doctors offices with EKG, stress testing and Holter monitor equipment that sends on-line computer data back to MGHS for interpretation.

The American College of Cardiology, American College of Surgeons and American Heart Association recommend minimal procedural volumes to maintain competency.   Marquette General Health System exceeds the minimum recommended volume for each procedure.
