mBank ‘Change to make a Change’ benefits Marquette General Cancer Center

mBank of Marquette certainly did its part in making sure the “Pink Experience” was a very successful event.

mBank held a ‘Change to make a Change” challenge at the hockey game, with spectators contributing spare change to either the Northern Michigan University women’s track or men’s basketball teams. When it was all added up, $569.46 was raised at the event, with all proceeds going to the Marquette General Cancer Center for breast health and advocacy.

The “Pink Experience,” a day-long event that included a women’s swimming and diving meet, women’s soccer game, a walk in the Superior Dome and a men’s hockey game, raised approximately $15,000. The Marquette General Foundation partnered with the NMU Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports Department on the event.
