Marquette couple makes gift for Hospitality Program

An anonymous Marquette couple, grateful that Marquette General Hospital provides Hospitality Rooms for patients and families while receiving medical care at MGH, recently donated $100 to the MGH Foundation.

As a gesture of their appreciation for this caring, safe “home” for out-of-town guests and patients, the Marquette couple (who also volunteer at MGH) donated $100 to purchase 25, $4 MGH cafeteria meal certificates. These cafeteria meal tickets will be given to guests of the Hospitality Program.

“We’ve had relatives who stayed in the Hospitality Program rooms. It’s a wonderful service, and our way of saying thanks,” the couple said.

Karol Pokley, Director of Volunteers at Marquette General, is appreciative of the generous gift.

“It’s from the heart and provides piece of mind for guests experiencing financial hardship. We are very grateful,” Pokley said.
