Week

2006
The Marquette
General Foundation held its random drawing for golf clubs and accessories
on Tuesday, May 16, with four fortuitous employees coming away winners.
Barb Stenberg, Mark Janofski, Tracie Frappier and Christie Pruett
were chosen as winners of the golf goodies, donated to the Marquette
General Foundation by Dr. Jim Surrell, a digestive health specialist
on MGH’s staff. The Marquette General Foundation has already
contacted each winner.

Stenberg, a Supervisor in IT, won the women’s bag and head
covers; Janofski, an RN in ICU, was the lucky winner of the complete
women’s Lady Calloway and Golf Bag set; Tracie Frappier, a
Clinic Office Clerk at Doctor’s Park in Escanaba, won the
men’s Nicklaus set; while Christie Pruett, a Medical Transcriptionist
in Medical Records, took home the much-coveted, authentic Detroit
Red Wings’ bag.
“We had a tremendous response from our employees for the golf
giveaways,” said Jan Hillman, Executive Director of the Marquette
General Foundation. “In all, 783 employees entered their names
in the drawing during Hospital Week. Congratulations to Barb, Mark,
Tracie and Christie on their winnings. Special thanks to Dr. Surrell
for his generosity and wonderful idea to thank our very valued employees.”
