The local district, based in Marquette, raised the funds through its “Tabs for Tots” program. This program has helped purchase pediatric equipment since 1989. The funds gifted to the Marquette General Foundation will be used to purchase equipment in Pediatric Therapy Services at Marquette General Hospital to benefit Upper Peninsula children who cannot process sensory information, which includes a number of disorders like autism and autism spectrum disorder.
