of us have been blessed to hear the stories of grateful patients
and families, who been touched by the compassionate care they received.
Acts of appreciation come
in many forms. Perhaps
it was a simple thank you or a hand shake. Maybe it
was a heartfelt card. It’s certainly a rewarding feeling
for our highly-trained healthcare professionals to know
they were there when patients and families needed them
the most.
Grateful patients and families have an opportunity to
express their gratitude by considering a gift(s) to

Physician
makes first gift to Grateful Patients &
Families Program
|
The Foundation
is proud to reveal the Grateful Patients and Families Program.
It provides an opportunity for patients, clients, families
and friends to say, “Thank You,” to the physicians, nurses, therapists and other members of the MGHS
healthcare team who have made a memorable contribution to
their patients’ health and well-being.
A Grateful Patients and Families Program brochure is available on many units across our campus and outlying
clinics. A series of posters are placed across our
system, drawing the attention to this exciting program.
Gifts to the Marquette General Foundation will help our health
system address a number of our fund-raising needs, including
purchasing cutting-edge equipment, providing continuing education
for nurses and other high-priority projects. The decision as
to where to direct funds is up to the donor, making this program
perfect for grateful patients and their families.
Upon receipt of these gifts, the healthcare provider will
receive recognition about the patient and/or family members’
designation of them from the Foundation team.
We’re excited about this program, and sincerely hope
that our patients and their families embrace this initiative
and spread the good word.
