Marquette General Foundation “Friends for Life” Society

The Marquette General Foundation is grateful to our employees, former patients and friends who have either named the Marquette General Foundation in their wills or have established other planned giving vehicles, such as annuities, trusts or life insurance, to philanthropically support Marquette General Health System.

It is this special group of people who are recognized in the Marquette General Foundation “Friends for Life” Society. Membership is exclusive to those who have made a deferred gift to the Marquette General Foundation through one or more of the following methods:

· Provision in a will or revocable trust.
· Life income gift
(charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust or charitable lead trust).
· Retirement plan beneficiary designation.
· Designating the Foundation as the owner of an existing or new life insurance policy.
· Life estate gift (remainder interest in real property).

To become a member of the Marquette General Foundation “Friends For Life” Society, simply download the Declaration of Intent form (click here) or call the Marquette General Foundation. We can provide sample bequest language for inclusion in your will or trust, or otherwise assist you with a plan that meets your philanthropic and financial goals.

One optional benefit of membership is the listing of your name on the Marquette General Foundation website and in the quarterly newsletter, UpLift. Of course, if you prefer to remain anonymous, we’re happy to honor your wishes.

Members of the Friends for Life Society share a strong common bond of generosity and visionary leadership, nourishing the health system’s mission. We’re grateful for our donors’ support and generosity.
