Ashly Ellis, RN, MSN, FNP has a background in specialty practice with training in cardiology, pulmonary, urgent care, emergency medicine and hospitalist experience.  She is passionate about helping others reach their healthcare goals by focusing on preventative medicine as well as lifestyle choices including nutrition and fitness. To her the most rewarding part of her job is helping people live their best life.

Ellis received her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lake Superior State University in Sault St. Marie, MI.

Ellis has lived in Sault Sainte Marie for over fifteen years after she fell in love with the community during her undergraduate degree. At that time she met her husband Scott, now of ten years, and they decided to stay and raise their family here. They have one son, Lenden, who is six and an Irish Setter Doodle puppy named Cooper.  She chose to work at UP Health System – Sault Ste. Marie for her dedication to the people and communities of the Upper Peninsula and to provide top care locally.
