Student clinical performance will be documented by completion of a Clinical Practicum Portfolio each semester. The Clinical Portfolio is a flexible document designed to emphasize active student involvement. In addition to the demonstration of clinical competency, a clinical portfolio provides a student with the responsibility and options to play an active role in their clinical performance and grade.
A Portfolio will reflect a student’s strengths and weaknesses and promote assertiveness for each individual. A student will demonstrate progress appropriate for each semester clinical practicum and their advancement in the program by a satisfactory clinical portfolio grade of 80% or higher.
