Medscape offers free, continuously updated continuing education activities for physicians, registered nurses, pharmacists, and other health professionals. All activities listed in the Nurse CE Center have been planned and implemented in accordance with the requirements of the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation, and have been produced in collaboration with nursing-accredited CE providers.

The foundation's primary focus in grant-making is on increasing access to healthcare -- particularly for the disadvantaged and underserved in and near communities where Baxter employees live and work.
