Hyperbilirubinemia

 

This educational activity is targeted toward registered and advanced practice professional
nurses to provide program participants with the knowledge needed to identify and
manage neonates at risk for or who have hyperbilirubinemia.

 

Current and emerging screening and treatment modalities are presented along with important information about preventing neonatal kernicterus. The importance of early intervention, treatment and follow up is highlighted.
