Pre-Diabetes Risk Test

What your score means:

0 - 2 Very Low Risk
3 - 9 Low to Medium Risk
10 + High Risk

You are at high risk for diabetes at this time.
See your doctor or health care provider and ask about a test for pre-diabetes or diabetes.

The Diabetes Prevention Program study showed a 58% reduction in development of diabetes over a 3 year period for people who exercised 30 minutes every day and reduced their weight by 5-10%

3-9 Low Risk

You are currently at low risk for pre-diabetes at this time.
Keep it low.
· if you are overweight, lost weight
· be active for 30 minutes or more, most days of the week
· don’t use tobacco
· eat low-fat meals with fruits, vegetable and whole grain foods
· if you have high cholesterol or high blood pressure, talk to your doctor about treatment options

To keep your risk very low:
· keep your weight at ideal levels
