Continuing Education Credits

 

Marquette General Hospital is committed to improve the well being and health care for the people of the Upper Peninsula and surrounding areas by offering educational events for both the community and health care professionals. Many of our educational events will receive continuing education credits for professionals. Marquette General Hospital is approved as a continuing education provider for the following organizations:

 

CME Category I Physician Continuing Education by Michigan State Medical Society Committee on Continuing Medical Education

 

Marquette General Health System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

 

Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals

 

NATA Board of Certification for Certified Athletic Trainers

 

NAHUC - National Association of Health Unit Coordinators

 

 

Approval for other continuing education credits will be obtained from the appropriate organizations, as individual conferences indicate, ie:

Certified Prevention Specialists

Nursing Home Administrators

Employee Assistance Certification Commission for Certified Employee Assistance Professionals

Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services - EMS Division,
