WHAT
IS THE HEALTH INFORMATION CENTER
The
Health Information Center is a place where patients, families and
community members can find information on disease states, health
conditions, medical procedures, wellness, and more. Hundreds
of topics are represented and services are FREE.
You can also e-mail an INFORMATION
REQUEST FORM for health information.

WHAT
SERVICES ARE OFFERED
- Books,
videos, DVD's,
CD Rom's and audio tapes are available for loan through the center
to allow you to learn in your home and at your own pace. Reference
books and anatomical models are available for use on site. Pamphlets
and personalized literature searches are yours to keep. If
you prefer to watch a video tape at the center, machines are available.
Computers with internet connections are available to use for searching
for health information.
HOW
DOES IT WORK - We encourage
you to visit the center. Information is easy to find and if
you prefer, our staff will assist you. Feel free to browse
for additional health topics of interest.
If
it is difficult to visit us in person, you can call, fax, e-mail
or mail your request for information. We mail information
FREE of charge to all areas of the Upper Peninsula.

a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Hospital's South
Tower.
