Medical Oncology

Medical oncologists provide diagnosis and treatment for cancer patients. They manage the medical component of cancer treatment including chemotherapy, and work closely with other specialists, especially surgeons, pathologists and radiation oncologists in planning and administering the most appropriate therapy. Medical oncologists also supervise and conduct cancer research in cooperation with nationally accredited agencies.
