Clinic Personnel -
DAVID
LUOMA, M.D., is the medical director of the U.P. Anticoagulation
Clinics and a board certified family practice physician at FamilyCare
Doctors. Dr. Luoma also serves as Chief Executive Officer of the
Upper Peninsula Health Education Corporation; Community Assistant
Dean, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine; Medical
Director, Quality Management, Marquette General Hospital; and Associate
Professor, Family Practice, Michigan State University.
RENEE
KOSKI, Pharm.D., is an experienced pharmacist/educator.
Renee consults on anticoagulation therapy management and education
at the Anticoagulation Clinics. She is an Associate Professor for
Ferris State University College of Pharmacy and oversees senior
level Doctor of Pharmacy student curriculum and practicum at FamilyCare
Doctors, Marquette General Hospital and the Anticoagulation Clinics.
She is also an Adjunct Instructor for the Department of Medicine
for Michigan State University College of Medicine. Renee received
her certification in anticoagulation therapy management in January
1999.
LIISA
TRETHEWEY, R.N., has 25 years experience as a Registered
Nurse in acute care, home health and case management. Liisa was
responsible for developing and establishing the Marquette, Negaunee
and Harvey Anticoagulation Clinics. She received her certification
in anticoagulation therapy management in October 2003 and currently
manages patients at the Marquette, Negaunee and Harvey clinics.
DEBBIE
HIRN, R.N., has 15 years experience as a Registered Nurse
in acute care, ambulatory care, oncology and diabetes education.
She received her certification in anticoagulation therapy management
in June 2005 and currently manages patients at the Escanaba clinic.
