Financial Assistance

Marquette General Hospital is committed to meeting the needs of everyone in our community.

One of those needs is providing medically necessary healthcare services to all individuals regardless of their ability to pay. For those who are uninsured and cannot pay for their care financial assistance may be available.

Before submitting a Financial Assistance Application, please review the following general criteria required to receive assistance:

1) Uninsured
2) U.S. Citizen
3) Owe more than $1,000.00 to Marquette General Hospital on any one visit.
4) Applied for, and denied, State Public Assistance Programs.
5) Does not include cosmetic, bariatric or special package pricing procedures.
6) Deductible and coinsurance amounts left after an insurance payment are not eligible for financial assistance.
7) Account/s that have not been sent to a collection agency.
