About the Regional Blood Center

 

Our hours are M -Th - 8:00 am- 6:00 pm and Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

 

The  U.P. Regional Blood Center is based at Marquette General Hospital
and supplies blood products on a regular basis to :

 

Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L'Anse

Bell Memorial Hospital, Ishpeming

Dickinson County Healthcare System

Grand View Health System

Helen Newberry Joy Hospital, Newberry

Keweenaw Memorial Medical Center, Laurium

Marquette General Hospital, Marquette

Munising Memorial Hospital, Munising

Ontonagon Memorial Hospital, Ontonagon

Portage Health System, Hancock

Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital, Manistique

Iron County General Hospital

War Memorial Hospital

 

The U.P. Regional Blood Center is supported solely by people like you, who live in the communities we serve.  Our goal is to provide patients in our U.P. hospitals with blood from volunteer donors in the U.P.

 

The Blood Center routinely collects blood in Houghton, Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Baraga, Iron, Marquette, Alger, Gogebic County, Dickinson, Schoolcraft, Chippewa, Delta, and Luce Counties.  We do not actively recruit sponsors or donors outside of our service area.
