Outpatient Substance Abuse Programs

 

Prime For Life*
“Best Practices,” Research-based program developed by the Prevention Research Institute
Education/Early Intervention: Separate programming available for Adults and Adolescents
Cost - $25 for entire nine (9) week program.

*Funding for Prime For Life is provided by Pathways/NorthCare Network and the Office of Drug Control Policy.

 

Structured Outpatient (STOP)
Evidence-Based (Living In Balance and New: PRIME Solutions) Level – I (outpatient) Adults
2 groups (evenings) per week plus an individual session every other week.  Family sessions also available.

 

NEW: Structured Outpatient  - Light (STOP Light)
Evidence-Based (Living in Balance and NEW: PRIME Solutions)
Primary care program for those with a substance abuse diagnosis.  Appropriate for those who have already completed a court-ordered education program and have re-offended &/or for those who do not meet criteria for substance dependence.
Twelve (12) weeks of group therapy with three (3) individual sessions.

 

Continued Care Programs
Evidence-Based Programming – NEW: PRIME Solutions
Aftercare services for those who have completed a primary substance abuse treatment program.
Weekly group therapy with individual sessions.  Family sessions also available.

 

Impaired Professionals Program
Approved provider with the Michigan Health Professional Recovery Program (MHPRP) and the Lawyer’s and Judges Assistance Program (LJAP).  (Will accept “un-licensed” professionals if openings available, i.e., teachers, police officers, etc.)
Weekly group therapy with individual sessions.  Family sessions also available.

 

Prescription Assessment, Counseling, and Education Services (PACES)
Referrals accepted from Primary Care Physicians who are concerned that a patient may be addicted to prescription drugs.  PACES consists of a comprehensive assessment, individualized recommendations for substance use disorder services, and intensive case coordination with the Primary Care Physician.
