April Morgan - LPN
April Morgan worked four years as a home health aide until she graduated from Northern Michigan University with a LPN certificate. She started her nursing career at Norlite Nursing Facility in 1994. In 1995 she joined the staff on the Adult Psychiatric Unit where she worked until she transferred to the Center For Intensive Addiction Services in 2008.
Among the duties that April really enjoys are teaching about medications and leading the group on Medication Side Effects.
Along with her nursing career April has enjoyed creating items from needlework and acrylic painting that she sells at local shops, art shows and her website. In 2010 April initiated the organization The Negaunee Needlers, a non-profit organization that was developed to pass on needlework skills and to make items for local charity groups.
April lives in Negaunee with her husband. She has three grown children. She spends her free time doing needlework, playing the piano and singing, gardening and photography. They both enjoy attending the Off Road Races each summer.
